Make sure your monitored servers have access to the Plumbr Server. If necessary adjust your firewall or configure Plumbr to use your proxy server. If that is not possible, consider using On-Premises Plumbr.

Keep Plumbr attached 24/7 to know about problems that can affect or already do affect your end-users. Plumbr detects performance issues automatically and tells you the root cause only when it is monitoring your JVMs.

Tips for development

When you use Plumbr in testing/staging environments, make sure these environments are under load, for example by automated stress/load tests. Plumbr measures how your application uses JVM resources and to do that it needs performance data during runtime. Without usage Plumbr algorithms are unable to do that.
